To choose the best suitable driver for a ride, our smart algorithm follows some parameters and takes the cumulative average of all of them. Few of the parameters are mentioned below.

Give preference to the nearest driver

Our smart algorithm considers the shortest straight path between the rider and driver. The driver with the shortest distance has more chances to match for the request.

It saves your driver’s and customer’s time as this factor ensures that the rider has to wait for the minimum time.

Don’t let any driver sitting idle for long

The smart algorithm also considers the idle time of all the drivers. For example, if driver A is 1 km away with 5 minutes of idle time and driver B is at 1.5 km away with 30 minutes of idle time, then in this case, driver B will have more chances of matching.

This parameter ensures that none of your drivers are stranded without any rides for a long period.

Reward drivers with high acceptance ratio

It’s the ratio of total number of requests accepted by the driver to the total number of requests received by the driver. The driver with high acceptance ratio will have more chances to match than that of lower acceptance ratio.

Acceptance ratio is the total number of requests accepted by the driver to the total number of requests received by the driver. The driver with high acceptance ratio will have more chances to match than that of lower acceptance ratio.

Prefer drivers with low cancellation ratio

It’s the ratio of total number of requests cancelled after acceptance to the total number of requests accepted. For example, if a driver accepts 100 requests and cancels 25 requests then the cancellation ratio will 1:4.

The driver with the lower cancellation ratio will have more chances of matching. This factor ensures that drivers refrain from cancelling the ride requests.

Ensure that all the drivers receive ride requests of all types of payment modes

This factor ensures that your drivers get ride requests of all the payment modes. For example, if a driver received 5 ride requests of cash payment then chances of him/her receiving a request for card payment will be more.

This parameter ensures that all the drivers are receiving ride requests of all the mode of payments.
